MILNGAVIE ART CLUB’S ANNUAL EXHIBITION 2025

2026 Annual Exhibition at the Lillie Art Gallery

to be announced nearer the time

2025 Annual Exhibition was held at the Lillie Art Gallery

The exhibition opened on 17th May from 10am-5pm, with the official opening event for members being held at 2.30pm

On Saturday 7th June, live music and a coffee afternoon was held by the Club to celebrate the opening of Milngavie Week

On Thursday 12th June, the Exhibition closed with a members’ tea party and live music provided by Romy, an accomplished local pianist

All events were well attended by members and visitors

2023 Annual Exhibition

A big thank you to all who came along to make the opening of our 2023 Exhibition such a success!

Guest artist Alasdair Banks gave the opening speech and presented the Centenary Award trophy to winner Teresa Samolewicz for her painting “Daffodils on blue”.

Exhibition Convenor Iain McAulay presented the MAC award to winner Nigel Johnson for his painting “Glasgow Uni winter”.

Gladys Speedie - Roman remains

Val Cooper - Near Bearsden

Voting continues for the duration of the exhibition for the Flora Wood award, so remember to cast your vote when you visit.

Thank you to the Factory Street Saxophone Quartet for the superb musical accompaniment.

Virtual Exhibition 2021

Between May and November 2021, due to Covid 19 restrictions, MAC presented a virtual Exhibition of Club members’ artwork to replace its Annual Exhibition at the Lillie Gallery. The exhibition can still be viewed on facebook.
