The Milngavie Art Club Members’ Choice Award is given to the artist whose artwork is voted the most by members attending the Annual Exhibition. The winner is presented with £150 and an award certificate.

The winner of the 2026 Milngavie Art Club Award was Aileen Semple for her portrait painting titled “In the Shadows”. Aileen was presented with her award on 6th June during an afternoon event celebrating Milngavie Week. Visitors enjoyed refreshments and listening to music by local pianist and former Miss Scotland, Romy.

The Flora Wood Award is presented to the artist whose artwork is voted the most by the visiting public during the duration of the Annual Exhibition. The winner receives £150 and an award certificate.

The winner of the 2025 Flora Wood Award was Iain Love for his painting titled “Return to Oban”.

The Centenary and Beyond Award is given to the artist whose artwork is chosen by the guest opener at the Annual Exhibition Opening Event. The winner receives £150 and an award certificate. In addition, the winner keeps the Artist’s Choice Award Sculpture for a year.

The 2026 Centenary & Beyond Award “Approaching An Teallach” by Simon Smith, was selected as best on show by guest Artist, Robert Kelsey, who opened the exhibition.
